Shedrick Cortez-Stokes serves as Producer/Director of SCS Films based in Houston, Texas. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Shedrick pursued higher education at Prairie View A&M University in Texas and also studied at the Hollywood Film Institute in Hollywood, California. His professional stops include both ABC and CBS affiliates in Houston, Texas.
Jose Gonzalez Lands In America, a comedy which will be released on Christmas Day 2014. Shedrick earned a local Emmy Award for his work on a special project with the famed Oprah Winfrey. Shedrick has a passion for filmmaking and loves helping others bring their stories to life. His ultimate dream is to help thousands of hopeful, inspiring on-screen and behind the scenes artists make it to the BIG screen.

Charles E. Williams Jr. aka Chuck Williams is Producer of Journey To Manhood, a documentary he holds near and dear to his heart.
The Houston native and Emmy Award-winning Editor/Producer has traveled around the country talking to African American men from varying backgrounds seeking their viewpoints on growing up with or without a father, the challenges facing today’s men of color, and how we can go about effecting positive change for our next generation of leaders.
A seasoned professional, Williams is no stranger to the film and television industry. He has more than 25 years of experience.
In 2013, Williams produced Brown Babies: The Mischlingskinder Story which received “Best Documentary” from the American Black Film Festival. His other projects include: New York in Black and White, Defining Moments and Bringing Home Rosie. He is the recipient of one Emmy and has been nominated twice.
He has also received the New York Association of Black Journalists, Documentary Television Award and a host of other accolades. Williams currently works at WCBS Television in New York City and is also the president of WEG Media Group, Inc., a production company and Vision Tube TV which showcases webisodes. He currently resides in New Jersey.
Kerwin Nygren, Director of Photography (DP), for Joy Comes In The Morning; Kerwin is a Videographer, Editor, Marketing Director, Local Coordinator, and owner of Anxious Teddy Productions, in Houston, Texas.
Norman Ray Fitts, writer; Norman has been writing for more than twenty years. He has completed dozens of scripts both short and feature length. He also had the chance to work for hire on several feature length screenplays. He has written and published five science fiction novels titled “The Encounter”, “Contact”, “The Submarine Effect” , “The Sentinel” and “The Key”. He has on occasion donated my time to a non-profit organization called “Skills for Living” mentoring 15 and 16 year old high school students. He has also been given the opportunity to speak with children as young as 11 or 12 about the art of writing.
He worked with the Austin Film Festival for a couple of years reading and judging screenplays for their “Heart of Film” screenplay competition and He belongs to American Zoetrope reviewing screenplays there. He runs one of the worlds largest film production meetups with over 3000 members supporting the film industry in Houston as well as the state of Texas. Several of his short scripts have been produced and a number are in various stages of production. Two feature length scripts are in production. Renetha Y. Thomas, Research and Statistical Data, is a native Houstonian and a mother of three children. Renetha serves as the Chief Operating Officer for SCS Films. She has over fifteen years of experience in the healthcare industry that includes the emergency department, outpatient surgery, psychiatric services, patient business services and other related areas.
As a representative of Houston Methodist Hospital, Renetha has developed a good rapport with the stakeholders and recognizes the important of customer service, establishing and maintaining a good rapport, and the importance of details. Renetha also has an AAS in Healthcare Administration and is currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree at Colorado Technical University.
